(...GROWING TOGETHER...)

The Mission of CCN is to make Disciples by

Loving God, Growing Together, Serving Others

The priorities and methods of our mission are mandated by the Word of God and form three faces of our mission: “Loving God, Growing Together, Serving Others”. These are not separate objectives but an integrated and comprehensive plan to make disciples according to the commands of Jesus.

We believe that a disciple is a “trained follower of Jesus who teaches and ministries the Gospel to others.”

One essential principle for being a disciple of Jesus is…

MAKING A COMMITMENT TO BECOME PART OF A SMALL GROUP FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH

GROWING TOGETHER

Growing Together means … Making a firm commitment to close fellowship with your brothers and sisters in Christ by weekly participation in a Small GroupSmall Groups are where your life in Christ begins to come alive in everlasting relationships with other believers in your local church who will love you, care about you, and help you to grow.

At CCN, we believe spiritual growth happens best in a small group. Throughout the Bible you find believers meeting together for worship, spiritual growth, and ministry. For example: (1) Jesus had a small group of men he invested his life in – the 12 disciples. (2) The church in Philippi started by a small group of people meeting in Lydia’s home (Acts 16:13, 15, & 40). (3) Homes were often used for prayer meetings (Acts 12:12-17). (4) Homes were used to establish the early churches (1 Corinthians 16:19).

Participation in small groups: (1) Creates an environment for close fellowship and friendship with other believers. (2) Helps church members develop strong relationships for support in tough times. (3) Builds a sense of family within the church and provides a place to learn and mentor others in the ways of discipleship.

Small group is… growing together:

- Have close fellowship and make lasting friendships with other believers!

- Develop strong relationships that will support and encourage you!

- Experience church as a family and learn the ways of God together!

Making A Commitment to join a small group can be the best decision you make in your life in the church.  It is difficult to form lasting relationships in worship alone.  Small groups of up to 10 believers provides a place where God will knit your heart together with other Christians through study and fellowship into lifelong friendships and a network of people who love you and will always be there for you and your family in a way you may never have experienced.  In many ways, your small group family may become more of a true and meaningful family than you have ever known.

Small Group Meetings

Small Groups meet throughout the week. On Sunday morning we have small groups that meet on our campus  and throughout the week we have small groups in homes as well as on campus.
