Online Worship Gathering
OCtober 18, 2020

Thank you for joining us in worship today. Each week we gather as the Body of Christ to collectively worship the Lord. We recognize and affirm that worship is more than singing songs; it is the turning of our attention and affection towards God in adoration and awe. In gathering together we turn both our individual and collective hearts towards God through the singing of songs, the giving of our tithes and offerings, and in listening and responding to the message He wants to share with us through His word.

3 Ways to Give

The easiest way is to give online by clicking the GIVE NOW button below. You'll be taken to a secure and walked through a simple process to give with options to give once or on a regularly scheduled basis.

If you are uncomfortable giving electronically, we have two other options. First you can mail your tithes and offerings to the church via the address listed in the page footer. Or you can drop your tithes and offerings in the secure dropbox that has been installed on the church building.

Regardless of how you give or what you give, remember the words of Paul,"You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully." 2Corinthians 9:7

Engage Through Discussion

There is this common pattern in the Gospels that emerges as the Disciples continue to learn from Jesus. Often after Jesus teaches in a public setting or has a conversation with someone who had been questioning him, the disciples would ask Jesus to discuss with them in further detail the meaning of his teaching. On a few occasions Jesus even anticipated their questions and need for clarification of what he meant when he said certain things.
Just like those earlier followers we need to engage with what God has been saying to us, and one of the best ways to do that is through discussing with others. In an effort to help encourage and aid you in those discussions we have provided a discussion guide for this weeks message. Click the button below to download a copy of the discussion guide and discuss this weeks message with others.
